Take steps for a brighter tomorrow by joining us at the 2008 Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization Buddy Walk!
1. Sign Up
Click on the Register Here button above to register online. REMEMBER to choose the option REGISTER A FAMILY if you want to use one fund raising page for your family or team. While registering, remember to create a personalized link to your personal page. You will only get one chance to do this.
The 2008 Palm Beach County Buddy Walk will take place in Lake Worth at John Prince Park on Sunday, October 19th. By participating in the Buddy Walk, you will help make a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.
Registration for our 14th Annual Buddy Walk celebrating families and Down Syndrome Awareness Month is $12 per person ($20 per person after October 9th) and includes our one-mile Advocacy Walk or our 5K Fitness Walk, a t-shirt, music, refreshments, family activities, and a raffle with amazing prizes. You won't want to miss this great day!!!
2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page
After you register, customize your personal fundraising page by editing text, uploading pictures and changing the colors of your page.
3. Spread the Word
Once your personal fundraising page has been set up, you can send emails to your friends and family through your E-mail Center. The emails will provide a direct link to your personal page where your friends and family can make a donation on your behalf. We've even written some sample emails to help get you started!

Even if you are unable to be in Palm Beach County for the Buddy Walk, you can still be a virtual walker from anywhere. Or you can simply make a charitable donation to help support the Buddy Walk program and the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization by clicking on GENERAL DONATION above.
