Join Our Buddy Walk Team!
The Buddy Walk is a day to celebrate the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome! The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
Your involvement in the Buddy Walk, by walking with us or by sponsoring us, will help strengthen the DSA's ability to serve individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our community. Last year alone, 55 NEW families joined the DSA. There are 600 families in San Antonio and the surrounding area that you are supporting, in addition to over 1500 family members, doctors, teachers, and others who benefit from our resources. Wow! That's alot of local support, and it's YOUR dollars that make it happen.
