Come Join Rebecca's Rebels
Thank you so much for your interest in joining Rebecca’s Rebels at the 2009 DSAOC Buddy Walk. We hope you will join us.
The Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (DSAOC) and the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) are wonderful organization that have really helped our family.
Your participation in the Buddy Walk will help strengthen the ability to serve the individuals with Down syndrome and their families that are impacted by this genetic condition in our community. The funds raised from the Buddy Walk will support DSAOC's local programs as well as the national education, research and advocacy initiatives of the NDSS. These funds enable local programs and NDSS to offer services that support and enhance the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
In 2008, Rebecca's Rebels raised over $14,000.00 and had 135 participants. We received second place awards in both categories. This year we have set our goal at $15,000.00 and 150 walkers. We are sure that with your continued help and support we will be able to exceed this goal.
