Over 100 BrendanBears BuddyWalked together to raise funds for the NDSS
The NYC BuddyWalk is the falgship fundraiser for the National Down Syndrome Society. It's an opportunity to walk -- or support a walker -- and raise funds for the NDSS. The BrendanBears are back again this year.
Our leader and inspiration is 5 year old Brendan, who amazes us everyday. In 2007, Team BrendanBear was the largest and most successful fundraising team in the nation.
Over the past seveal years the BrendanBears raised almost $100 thousand dollars for local programs and NDSS’ advocacy programs that benefit and serve people with Down syndrome and their families through the Buddy Walk.
We are asking you to Buddy Walk with the BrendanBears --either by joining our team or by sponsoring one of our Bears -- to benefit local programs and the national advocacy efforts of the NDSS. Your Buddy Walk contribution helps strengthen our ability to serve individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
How far we walk is not as important as why we are walking, and and the meaningful difference we'll make in the lives of all individuals with Down syndrome.
