Take steps for a brighter tomorrow by joining us at the 2009 Palm Beach County Buddy Walk which will take place in Lake Worth at John Prince Park on Sunday, October 18th. By participating in the Buddy Walk, you can help make a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.
Registration for our 15th Annual Buddy Walk celebrating families and Down Syndrome Awareness Month is $12 per person ($20 per person after October 8th) and includes a one-mile Advocacy Walk or 5K Fitness Walk, a free t-shirt, music, refreshments and family activities. There is also a raffle with amazing prizes. You won't want to miss this great day!!!
1. Sign Up
Click on the Register Here button above to register online.
To register your family - choose the option "Register Family" To register yourself and friends - choose the option "Register Multiple People" To register yourself - choose "Start a Team," "Join a Team," or "Join as an Indvidual"
After choosing to register a family or multiple people, you will have the option to Start a Team or Join a Team.
2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page
When you register, you will automatically get a personal fundraising page where you can collect donations. You can customize this page by editing text, uploading pictures and changing the colors of your page.
3. Spread the Word
Once your personal fundraising page has been set up, you can send emails to your friends and family through your E-mail Center. The emails will provide a direct link to your personal fundraising page where your friends and family can make a donation on your behalf. We've even written some sample emails to help get you started!

Even if you are unable to be in Palm Beach County for the Buddy Walk, you can still make a charitable donation to help support the Buddy Walk program and the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization by clicking on GENERAL DONATION above.
