Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization has been celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month with a Buddy Walk since 1995 and your support of our 15th Annual Buddy Walk for acceptance and inclusion of all people with Down syndrome in Palm Beach County, Florida is very meaningful.

First and foremost an awareness event, the Buddy Walk is also our annual fundraiser and supports our organization throughout the year. Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization is a health and educational resource, family support organization. We give current and positive information about Down syndrome to new parents, sponsor many wonderful social opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, provide parent trainings as well as educational advocacy and work to ensure that individuals with Down syndrome can grow up to live, work and play in their community.

Thank you for your support! We hope that you will be able to join us for this wonderful, heartwarming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of individuals with Down syndrome!

Early Online Registration for the Buddy Walk is $12 per person. Early Mail-in registration for the Buddy Walk is $15 per person. Registration after October 8th is $20 per person.

You're a VIP Fund Raiser! ($1,000.00 + ) 
The ten individuals who raise the highest dollar amounts posted on their personal (not team) fundraising page (minimum $1,000) and turned in by Thursday, October 8th. Individuals who are not able to fundraise online must turn donations in by Thursday, October 8th to participate in this incentive.
   Rewards: VIP Goody Bag and Hospitality Tent Check-In - The top ten individual fundraisers of donations on an online personal page raised by Thursday, October 8th will enjoy the benefits of the VIP Hospitality Tent. You will receive a Buddy Walk Goody Bag and have access to a supply of cold water. Upon arrival, VIP's bypass the Check-in line and proceed directly to the Hospitality Tent.

Buddy Walk Donation Prize Drawing! ($100.00 + ) 
Now everyone can participate in the opportunity for a chance at a big prize. Whether you raise $100 or $10,000 you will be entered in our Buddy Walk Donation Prize raffle drawing.
   Rewards: Buddy Walk Donation Prize Drawing! - Anyone collecting donations through an online personal fundraising page or offline will be awarded one raffle ticket for each $100 collected and turned in by the deadline of Thursday, October 8th. There will be a drawing for 3 big prizes and winners will be notified before the Buddy Walk where to pick up their prize!

Incentive gift for everyone raising $100 or more.
   Rewards: Raise $100 or more! - Raise $100 or more to receive a Buddy Walk logo gift such as a koozie, key chain, or magnet (while supplies last). Pick this up at the merchandise tent on Buddy Walk day.

  
Team Level
You choose your T-shirt color! ($4,000.00 + ) 
Be the first team to raise $4000 in donations collected and posted on Kintera.
   Rewards: Special Buddy Walk T-shirt - The team captain of the first team to raise $4000 (posted to Kintera) in donations will be able to select a T-shirt color/black ink (must be approved by Buddy Walk committee) for their team.

Sub lunch for Team Fundraising ($200.00 + ) 
Get your team members involved in your fundraising efforts. Which team will have the most team members collecting donations posted to Kintera by September 15th?
   Rewards: There is such a thing as a free lunch! - Ask your team members to help you raise dollars for the organization. When someone registers for your team they automatically get a personal fund raising page. Encourage your family and friends to then send their page out to their family and friends to help fundraise. The donations they collect will show next to their name on your team page. The team with the most individual participants raising at least $200 by September 15th will get subs delivered to the buddy walk for lunch.
