The Down Syndrome Association of San Antonio was formed in 1994 by parents interested in supporting each other in raising children with Down syndrome. The mission of the DSA is to provide information and support for families and friends of children and adults with Down syndrome. Our goals are:
1. To gather and share information about Down syndrome.
2. To find support from other parents who are experiencing similar feelings and experiences with their child.
3. To get to know other people with Down syndrome and foster friendships between our children.
