Come Buddy Walk with Me!
My Rebels and I are participating in our sixth annual Buddy Walk. I am very excited and can't wait for another day of fun in the sun.
If you have not walked with me before, please come join me. You and your family will have a great day. The actual “Walk” is around the exterior of the stadium and is completely wheelchair and stroller accessible. You do not have to be in great physically condition to complete the walk. The majority of the event is held on the field (something you may NEVER get a chance to do). You can bat from home plate (for the little ones), see how fast your fastball is, time yourself in the jumpy obstacle course, have your face painted and so much more. Last year there was even a rock climbing wall and bungee jumping. You can also visit the dugouts and bullpens.
To join me in the walk, simply click on "Join the Team". The cost is $25.00 ages 12 and up and $15.00 ages up to 11. The cost includes your "REBECCA'S REBELS" t-shirt.
By walking with Rebecca's Rebels you are helping all individuals with Down Syndrome to make steps for a brighter tomorrow. Please come out and walk with me at the 2009 Orange County Buddy Walk.
