The Down Syndrome Guild (DSG) of Southeast Michigan, (formerly Parents of Children with Down Syndrome), will host the 2008 Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 4th, to raise money for people with Down syndrome in our communities.
Last year at we were proud to have 900+ participants! We are looking forward to seeing everyone again this fall at the Buddy Walk!
Your contributions help us provide advocacy, resources and support including new parent information packets, therapy scholarships for families in need, educational conferences and seminars, weekly playgroups for social development and much, much more.
DSG of Southeast Michigan is proud to be affiliated with both the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the National Down Syndrome Congress. These organizations work on areas such as research and governmental affairs. A portion of the funds from the 2008 Buddy Walk will be sent to NDSS to support their outstanding efforts.
