The 2008 Down Syndrome Association of Memphis and the Mid-South Buddy Walk will take place on Sunday, October 19. By participating in the Buddy Walk, you will help make a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.
Registering for the Mid-South Buddy Walk™ is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Sign Up
Click on the Register Here button above to register online as an individual walker or as a member of a team.
2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page
After you register, customize your personal fundraising page by editing text, uploading pictures and changing the colors of your page.
3. Spread the Word
Once your personal fundraising page has been set up, you can send e-mails to your friends and family through your E-mail Center. The emails will provide a direct link to your personal fundraising page where your friends and family can make a donation on your behalf. We’ve even written some sample emails to help get you started!
Even if you are unable to be at the Memphis Botanic Garden for the Buddy Walk, you can still be a virtual walker from anywhere. Or you can simply make a charitable donation to help support the DSAM and the National Down Syndrome Society.
