The 2008 Annual DSAGC Buddy Walk will take place on Saturday, September 13th. In 2001, we never dreamed that this event would bring so much awareness about Down syndrome to our community. Last year we raised over $380,000 and estimated 8,500 walkers – again making the DSAGC Buddy Walk the largest in the US! Join us in our efforts this year to make a difference in the extraordinary lives of our local families and friends whose lives have been touched by Down syndrome. Walk the “Purple People Bridge” with us and then plan on attending our “After Party” on Riverboat Row immediately following the walk. Two hours of fun, food, entertainment and two LIVE bands on the Ohio River!
If you are unable to walk with us, you can still make a donation safely and securely on our fundraising website. You tax-deductible donation will support the ongoing programs and services the DSAGC offers to over 1,000 local families.
